Tenormin is for those suffering with hypertension, or high blood pressure It is also an effective treatment for chest pain related to coronary artery problems. It is also used to regulate abnormal heart rates. Tenormin can also be used to treat migraines and tremors.
Directions for Use
Should be taken prior to eating or before sleeping.
Seek urgent medical assistance if you suffer an allergic reaction such as: swelling anywhere above the neckline; breathing difficulty; skin irritation.
Call a doctor immediately if you have any of these more serious side effects:
• irregular heartbeats;
• feeling dizzy, fainting;
• difficulty breathing;
• swelling of foot joints;
• nausea, stomach cramps, fever, changes in appetite, discolored urine, discolored stools, jaundice;
• poor circulation in extremities (hands, feet).
Precautions
Always consult your doctor before stopping taking this medication, as this can worsen your condition. Should your doctor decide to stop your medication, it must be decreased gradually, as per their instruction and physical exertion should be limited at this time.
Missed Dose
Never take two doses at once. Should you miss a dose less than eight hours before your next one, skip that dose and carry on with the scheduled dosage.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
